The Regent Theatre was built as a multi-purpose venue in 1930 and is still ideally suited to wide range of uses today.
The historic Theatre has a seating capacity of up to 700 people with 320 in the dress circle and the remainder in the stalls.
The entire auditorium is comfortably heated by a ducted gas-fired system. Wheelchair access is provided at the front of Theatre and to one toilet. The foyer has a kiosk with a refrigerator, freezer, urns, a sink with hot, cold and boiling water, and ample bench space for food preparation. The mezzanine floor also has catering facilities with bench space, a bar and a sink.
The Committee of Management and Caretaker have a great deal of experience with the various configurations of the Theatre and will work with you to ensure whatever your event requires goes smoothly.
