Come along and enjoy this free open day for locals at the National Vietnam Veterans Musuem from 10am til 4pm.

There will be heaps to see and do, including:

  • Wonthaggi Woodcrafters - kids create your own wooden models
  • Action Stations - items used by servicemen on their tour of duty for you to handle
  • Face painting
  • Mini Golf
  • Light and Sound Show
  • Over 20,000 exhibits

Over the last few years Groundswell Bass Coast has been presenting information about the implications of climate change to the Bass Coast community. As facts and figures of scientific data can become overwhelming at times, a different approach is being taken for our next event. Groundswell is collaborating with ArtSpace Wonthaggi to hold an Art Show entitled "ClimArt" on the theme of climate-change.

Are you aware that the first evidence of dinosaurs in Australia was discovered near Inverloch in 1903?  The Palaeontological significance of the whole of the Bass Coastline is huge!

This Exhibition encompasses the Jurassic, Triassic and Cretaceous Periods in the history of the Earth.  Twelve Australian Jewellers have been invited to create a special piece of Jewellery.  

Also featuring the Art and handmade tiles of local artist Jen Manhal.
