Participants at Come and get your ART ON, together with PollyannaR and East Gippsland Art Gallery, teamed up to create a community arts project where everyone became the artist. 

Participants were invited to draw shapes, patterns, words, or anything they like onto small pieces of perspex using specialist Paint Markers.  Guest artist, PollyannaR, known for creating the world’s longest photograph, took photos of the participating artists with their artworks and these are now exhibiting in ‘Drawn Together’.

This event will consist of an amalgamation of key modules from across the workshops presented as part of the Arts Wellbeing Collective Pilot Program, including Creative People Management, resilience, communication and identity in the performing arts.  Managers, team members, front of house, back of house, crew, artists, and performers are all welcome.

The Arts Wellbeing Collective is an Arts Centre Melbourne initiative, delivered in partnership with Entertainment Assist.  The Arts Wellbeing Collective comprises a consortium of Victorian arts and cultural organisations whose shared vision is to effect better mental health and wellbeing for Victorian performing arts workers.

Thanks to the generosity of the Willian Buckland Foundation, Arts Centre Melbourne will be taking the Arts Wellbeing Collective program on the road to six regional hubs during 2017.

The Gippsland Art Gallery’s biennial celebration of printmaking returns in 2017.

The Gippsland Print Award — introduced in 2015 — is an open entry award exhibition that showcases the ingenuity and creativity of artists and this marvellously enduring medium.

The Gippsland Print Award is a $5,000 prize for printmaking open to all artists living and working in Australia, for prints that have been completed since September 2015. The winning work will be automatically acquired by the Gippsland Art Gallery.
