Colouring Outside the Lines

Colouring Outside the Lines

May 30, 2017 @ 5:00 PM

This is a 2 hour workshop for people who think they aren’t creative, or they can’t draw.  We provide a comfortable and encouraging environment, and safe method of experimentation to discover that “You are and you can!”

Using a unique mandala stencil, and beautiful pastels and pencils, we want you to colour outside the lines! With no parameters you will become aware of your creative connection.

Once your creative juices are flowing, we stay in the mindful moment with a free-drawing session, using still life to really “see”, then sit back with a lovely glass of wine, or juice, and nibbles to admire and discuss your work.

Venue:  Hicksborough General Store, 184 White Road, North Wonthaggi.

Bookings required, phone Michelle Crotty on 0408 325 069.

Times: 5pm til 7pm

We’re Going On A Bear Hunt

We’re Going On A Bear Hunt

May 31, 2017 @ 6:30 PM
Latrobe Performing Arts Centre

WE’RE GOING ON A BEAR HUNT is the wonderful story of a family out for walk and on the lookout for a growling bear - they have to march through long swishy grass, wade through thick gloopy mud and even battle a snow storm before entering a big dark cave where maybe they will finally spot the glinty wet eyes of a slobbering, gigantic bear winking at them through the blackness.

This 55 minute mini-musical captures the fun and frolics of a father who is clearly still a child at heart, his three children including a tiny intrepid bear hunter in the making – baby is strapped to dad’s back plus the family dog and of course....a BIG BROWN CUDDLY BEAR!

Wesley of Warragul

'It Ain't Easy Being Elvis’ (Starring Andy Seymour & The Southern Gentlemen) is the story of one man's journey across the globe as an Elvis Presley tribute artist.  This is NOT an Elvis impersonator show.  You certainly don’t have to be an Elvis fan to enjoy this very personal and fascinating insight into what it takes to ‘make it’ on the world stage.

Seriously, you couldn't make this stuff up!

It’s packed full of outrageous ‘behind-the-scenes’ stories, great songs and hysterical anecdotes that will have you laughing, crying, dancing and singing-along.
