The Listies 6D

The Listies 6D

April 11, 2017 @ 2:00 PM
Latrobe Performing Arts Centre

The award-winning Listies star in 6D (It's twice as Good as 3D), a kids’ comedy show all about the movies.  Expect haunted backpacks, ninja nans, vomiting puppets and fully automatic toilet paper guns.  Best of all an actual movie is made at every performance with a helmet mounted GoPro!

While stuffed full of all the high-brow things that kids love (like fart jokes and vomiting) The Listies ensure that audiences of all ages laugh as many times as they can.  The silver screen is about to turn brown.

Meeniyan Hall

Tony Joe White was literally born for the blues, the part-Cherokee musician being brought up as part of a big brood on a cotton farm in Louisiana, raised on a diet of Lightnin’ Hopkins and local bluesmen, an upbringing reflected to this day in his evocative, haunting music and adding a veneer of authenticity to everything that he touches.

So whether you’ve been with White for the duration or are a newcomer to his incredible music it matters not – come along and join the festivities when the legend that is Tony Joe White hits Australia in 2017.

100% Kylie Greatest Hits Tour

100% Kylie Greatest Hits Tour

April 22, 2017 @ 8:00 PM
Esso BHP Billiton Wellington Entertainment Centre

100% Kylie is the world’s longest running and most successful Kylie Tribute Show.  100% Kylie has toured the world for over ten years, with sell out shows in places such as Spain, Italy, Beijing, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Dubai, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Macau, New Zealand and Fiji.

Kylie Minogue summed it up best when she wrote to her hundreds of thousands of followers on Twitter, calling 100% Kylie the ‘best Kylie show on the planet'.   Such a fan of the show, Kylie even sent a camera crew to film the show for her while she was on tour.  And when you consider that a photo of Lucy accidently appeared on Kylie’s own official website, you quickly realise there are simply no higher accolades an impersonator could be given.

Shirley Valentine

Shirley Valentine

April 26, 2017 @ 8:00 PM
Latrobe Performing Arts Centre

Shirley Valentine by the award winning Willy Russell and starring Mandi Lodge (Menopause The Musical and Always...Patsy Cline) is a wonderfully entertaining monologue by a 42-year-old Liverpool mother whose self-esteem has been battered by school, marriage and life in general.  When her best friend wins a Greek vacation for two, Shirley grasps the chance to head for the sun, to re-find herself, follow her dreams and to get a new lease on life.

With much humour, warmth, sympathy, human insight and a great deal of empathy for his female protagonist, Willy Russell brilliantly shows Shirley breaking out of the mould in which she was cast by society.
