Cirque Africa is a one of a kind show that is sure to amaze and enthral all who see it.  A 100% African cultural experience, Cirque Africa is a vibrant and highly entertaining blockbuster production which transports each audience to the positive side of Africa through modern stage a performance.  Produced and directed by Papa Africa aka Winston Ruddle the director who brought you the hit Broadway show Cirque Mother Africa.

Cirque Africa features the world-renowned African troupe, consisting of 25 performing artists from 6 African countries including acrobats, dancers, percussionist, musicians and contortionists, performing a 100 minute awe-inspiring show.

Highlighted with stunning colourful African costumes, high energy knuckle-biting acrobatic acts, humorous comedy traditional, modern original composed music for each act plus vibrant dance routines, this is a superb show is for all ages of the family and as its a visual show Cirque Africa has no language cultural or religious barriers.  Cirque Africa is fresh, funky, bold, fun and challenges your imagination like no other show.

In 1924, the Italian film director Angelo Drovetti embarked on an epic 8,000-nautical-mile voyage with his movie camera.

The result, Dall'Italia All'Australia (From Italy to Australia), is regarded by many as the most comprehensive film ever made of a migrant voyage.

This black & white SILENT FILM chronicles the voyage of the passenger steam ship Regina d’Italia (Queen of Italy).

Four piece band “I Viaggiatori” will perform live Italian folk music to accompany the film.Venue:

Lakes Entrance Mechanics Hall, Mechanics Street ,Lakes Entrance.

Doors open 6pm, show starts 7pm - tickets pre show $25 or $30 at the door.  All four shows Seasons tickets $80.00.

This world class music highlight of the year concert will be one of the first outings for a collaboration of two of Australia’s most respected artists.

Singer/songwriter and ARIA award winning Lior, shot to the public’s attention following his 2005 debut album Autumn Flow, which became one of the most successful independent releases in Australian history.

Paul Grabowsky who performed at The Wedge twice in 2016 with his quartet and with Kate Ceberano is an acclaimed composer, pianist and polymath who has received numerous awards in his illustrious 40 year career.

Together they will be reinventing some of Lior’s most cherished songs as well as bringing their own individual voices to this special show.

The Gippsland Art Gallery’s biennial celebration of printmaking returns in 2017.

The Gippsland Print Award — introduced in 2015 — is an open entry award exhibition that showcases the ingenuity and creativity of artists and this marvellously enduring medium.

The Gippsland Print Award is a $5,000 prize for printmaking open to all artists living and working in Australia, for prints that have been completed since September 2015. The winning work will be automatically acquired by the Gippsland Art Gallery.
